a wildlifE friEndly CoTTagE GardEn

The brief for this garden was to bring together traditional gardening and wildlife conservation. A kitchen garden was created around the existing greenhouse, with raised beds and a terraced area to create a practical space for the clients to grow herbs, fruit and vegetables. Pollinator-friendly, cottage garden planting has been allowed to self-seed and grow freely, creating a haven for wildlife.

“FroM the iNitial coNSultatioN through to the fiNal dEsiGN, SoPhiE was lovEly to work with. I No loNgEr havE a sEnsE of a GardEN out of control but a GardEN which I lovE aNd cherish.”
